Dr. Michael A. Pinto
Dr. Michael A. Pinto serves as Chief Executive Officer of Wonder Makers Environmental, Inc.; a manufacturing and environmental consulting firm that specializes in identification and control of asbestos, lead, IAQ, mold, industrial hygiene, and chemical problems. Dr. Pinto has developed and teaches a variety of environmental courses and is the author of over 120 published articles and several books including, Fungal Contamination: A Comprehensive Guide for Remediation. He completed his PhD. in environmental engineering and holds numerous other certifications including Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Mold Professional (CMP). His training and experience lead to Dr. Pinto’s selection as part of the first indoor environmental Mitigation Assessment Team (MAT) for FEMA following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
Michael’s background and interests are as varied as his current job description. His Bachelor’s Degree is in Philosophy while his Masters Degree is in Public Administration. Dr. Pinto has completed the training necessary to be appointed as a Local Pastor and currently leads the United Methodist church in Lacota, Michigan. Even with all this, Dr. Pinto finds time to write for audiences outside of the technical world. He has authored The Twin, a novel about the life of the Apostle Thomas. His second novel is under way exploring the amazing life of Lazarus. Dr. Pinto uses any proceeds from his theological endeavors to support a mission school in Nairobi, Kenya.
